Click the button below be redirected to the Futurum "Farming on Permafrost" webpage. We worked with Futurm Careers to create outreach material including a brochure, activity sheet and an animated video. These materials highlight our project and the career paths of members of the research team and some of our farmer-collaborators. The goal of the brochure is to provide free resources and examples for middle and high school aged students for potential career paths in STEM and SHAPE. The activity sheet provides in-class and at-home activities composed of a prompted discussion and an activity to create and thaw “permafrost” with varying ground ice contents.
